Lyon Rum Dark Size:750ml fish baked in the ovenDespite the dark rum name, its coloring is a pleasing dark amber. The nose gives hints of molasses and raisin. Sipping it yields brown butter and sweet burnt caramel just slightly bitter but not unpleasant. Theres no noticeable agricole notes despite half the mash being evaporated cane juice. Theres also no initial burn despite being 90 proof. The mouthfeel is slightly more viscous than the average rum. Then finish fades quickly, then sneaks back in
