"Paestum" SAN GIOVANNI, Paestum IGT 2021 DOC classic BaroloPaestum is an ancient Greek colony just beyond the Cilento mountain range, which faces the Amalfi coast north. The San Giovanni winery is located at Punta Tresino just above the Mediterranean sea, the nearest town being Castellabate. Here the vines seem to be clinging onto steep, old vineyards, which were recovered from abandonment, overlooking the deep blue sea at only 60 metres above sea level, in the National Park Cilento Vallo di Diano.
