City Park is one of the oldest public places in the city

For me the river leads to the sunlight in this midday image bringing the two elements together

It was a little windy one of the days I was there and noticed the movement of the water in the basin

it was nice to have the wind at my back

First Sunrise of 2018 in Denver Abstract On a fall afternoon inIt was quite chilly the first morning of 2018 in Denver. That didnt stop me from waking up early and watching the sunrise over the city. From the change of colors about 45 minutes before sunrise to waiting for the sun to rise over the buildings in downtown it was a quiet morning in the city. In years past there have been many more people out in this area at Speer and Zuni, but the cold most likely changed that this year.
