Superb 18th Century French Portrait Miniature, a Beauty in Gorgeous Antique Walnut Frame shadow box frame Perhaps a Prussian RoyalHer gown and hair, draped pearls and flowers set her in the fashions of last half of 18th century. A portrait still sealed in the original walnut frame with brass inlay trim elevated and unique for its era, suggesting it might be a painting of a courtier of Louis XV era. She's styled a bit like the Mistress of King Louis XV. Madam de Pompadour more casual without her powdered wig. Her face is 7 8" chin to hairline. Full measurements noted on photos.
